Context:

The e-XTP (enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission) is a science space mission aimed to study the state of matter under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism (see https://www.isdc.unige.ch/extp/). It is now in extended phase A approved by CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences). Europe is providing the Wide Field Monitor (WFM), a coded mask instrument. We - at ICE, CSIC and IEEC - are PI of the WFM and should provide the coded masks and the mechanical structure of the cameras (collimator and detector box).

Specific tasks and required experience:

In view of the imminent start of the Phase B of eXTP, we are looking for a system engineer with proven experience in space instrumentation. Specific knowledge related to AIV (Assembly, Integration and Verification) tasks, as well as experience in the preparation of the relevant documentation and a good level of English language are required.

Contact: A CV should be sent to Margarita Hernanz (hernanz@ieec.uab.es) and IEEC administration (ieec@ieec.cat).
